  • Excellent staff, yummy food, fun atmosphere, clean restrooms, and the cutest name for a small diner. Oh, and the absolute best flavored sodas and the best pecan pie in the universe!

  • Excellent food. Got the gueberburger once and now it's my go to. Have probably had it a dozen times and each time it is still warm down to the last bite. The liquid peanut butter mixed with the jalapeno jelly (that's not hot btw) is the perfect mix!

  • Classic American diner feel! Food was great and fast! My only disappointment is in myself for not being able to finish my double cheeseburger. These are massive! Finally a place that hasn't resorted to child-sized patties.

  • This is a great little diner worth stopping by. The building is nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Best of all our food was delicious. Classic diner food the way it should be, fresh, big portions, and very flavorful. My wife got the Hillbilly BBLT with bologna, egg, bacon, lettuce and tomato and it was a flavor bomb! I got the philly and was not disappointed, lots of meat, grilled onions and cheeeeese. Also the bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of decorative donkey items in both the men's and women's restrooms which makes this place a 5 outta 5.

  • NOTE** hours will change April 1st to be open later on some days. My husband has been wanting to try this place out for a while now and we finally made it over. If you’re driving too fast down 54, you’ll surely miss it. Although it might not look like much from the outside, they make up for it with their food and service. My family of six usually tests the efficiency of smaller places like this and today, Hillbilly Hut showed what they’re made of. Efficient to a T! My husband said this was the best tenderloin he’s ever had. He said it was the perfect amount of light and crisp and not too much breading. I had the shrimp and they were 10/10. The kids had mini corn dogs, burgers, and chicken. There wasn’t anything left on anyone’s plates when we were done. Despite being pretty full, the kids couldn’t resist ice cream. We opted to sit outside on this gorgeous day, but there’s also a really nice indoor area with plenty of seating, restrooms, and a few arcade games. While we ate and enjoyed the weather, we saw at least two dozen cars pull in. This place handles their crowds gracefully and we never saw a line. Each employee we encountered was pleasant and seemed to be genuinely great people. We also noticed that this is a veteran owned establishment, which is great! I highly recommend stopping here! My kids decided they want to stop here every weekend

  • Americana Restaurant at its best- even the floor was red, white and blue. Really neat atmosphere with kind and tentative staff. Food was cooked perfectly and excellent. Shake was decadent, and wonderful as well.

  • Absolutely amazing! I would drive 2 hours just come back out here! Everyone was so nice and helpful. I have 4 others with me and we can't stop saying how great the food is. Hot fresh and worth every penny. Love it.

  • A qlcute quick kitschy stop on the way to or back from the llake. Was as quick as.pulling off to a McDonald's and honestly not that much more expensive. Service was good and place just feels right for some reason. It was 100+ all week and the Temps broke on our way home making the outside tables perfect
